Learn how to play Block Pools and Prop Bet Pools
A Block Pool (also called a Squares Pool or Grid Pool) is a game where participants claim squares on a 10x10 grid. Each square corresponds to a potential score combination, and winners are determined by the score at the end of each quarter.
Join the Pool
Select one or more squares on the 10x10 grid. Each square costs the entry fee set by the pool creator.
Numbers Are Assigned
Once the pool is locked, random numbers (0-9) are assigned to each row and column. These represent the last digit of each team's score.
Watch the Game
As the game progresses, check the score at the end of each quarter. The last digit of each team's score determines the winning square.
Win Prizes
If your square matches the score at the end of a quarter, you win the payout for that quarter!
Let's say at the end of the first quarter, Team A has 17 points and Team B has 14 points.
The winning square would be where the row number 7 (last digit of 17) intersects with the column number 4 (last digit of 14).
Whoever owns that square wins the Q1 payout!
The pool creator sets the payout structure for each quarter. Typically:
- Q1 (End of 1st Quarter): 20% of prize pool
- Q2 (Halftime): 30% of prize pool
- Q3 (End of 3rd Quarter): 20% of prize pool
- Q4 (Final Score): 30% of prize pool
